Rugged craftsmanship, December 11, 2011 By This review is from: Adirondack No.4 - Cherry and Basswood, Kevlar Edge - Canoe Paddle (Misc.) I want to add to the other reviews. Although the paddle is light and a finely crafted piece of work, because of the Kevlar tip protecting the wood laminate blade, it is rugged and likely to provide a life-time of competent service. A good deal!

This is a beautiful, carefully crafted paddle. It is also very functional for the classic paddler. I bought it as a gift, since, because of my paddling style, I use a bent-blade carbon fiber paddle.
